Delta 1010 problem

Hello all, I have a Dual 1.25 Mac with Tiger 10.4.4 When I try to play itunes a get a blast of what almost sounds like raw spdif spouting out of my speakers. I open up the "sound" panel of "system prefernces" and switch back to "built in audio" and the music plays fine. Anyone else have this problem?

check Itune's audio preferences. you may want to disable the onboard audio and reinstall the 1010 drivers and see if that helps

Thanks I tried that just now and still have the same problem. I wonder if I wrong settings in my patch bay? i have it set to software out 1/2, 3/4 ... etc.

In the 1010 driver settings, you could have the Master clock set to External (s/pdif) instead of Internal (the cards own clock).
