Decent sounding guitar for recording

Hey Cinci, I don't know about everyone else here but,.....If you buy a higher quality guitar, that is slightly used (many people take very good care of their instruments) Why would you be worried about a warranty?? I've had over a dozen guitars and have yet to use any kind of warranty, or need any kind of warranty work. Of course though, buy cheap...and I'm sure you'll be able to utilize the warranty they give you. A brand new "Harmony" guitar is far worse than a 25 year old Fender Stratocaster. Get my point....

If you want a light guitar, look at the Yamaha RGX A2. It's the new futuristic-looking one, but it plays great, sounds great, and weighs only 5 lbs and 6 oz. It's $500 new. My MF catalog says it comes with a free Magicstomp pedal.
