The Brewers and Badgers lost yesterday,I'm hoping the Packers can avoid the sweep.

The weather
It's been unbelievably perfect for the longest time but may cool off a bit next week.It was a terrible start this year, but probably the best summer weather wise in years.

Other than that 2008 kind of sucks.

The world has gone mad. And where were the bloody regulators in all this? Sleepwalking?

I've come to realize that money isn't made in fields, mines or factories,it's made on paper in offices.

Good luck to the Brewers today. You gotta like their chances with Sabathia on the mound.

Santana came up big for the Mets yesterday... but I'm not sure if Oliver Perez can duplicate it today.

Mussina goes for his 20th win today. Hard to believe this guy has like 250 career wins, but has never won 20 games in a season. (This is as exciting as it gets for the Yanks this year.) :(

My prediction: Giants will remain undefeated this week!! ;)

Wow, October baseball in Milwaukee!

Are you gonna need a zamboni to clear the basepaths? :D :D

Well, better enjoy it, cause it looks like the Packers are pretty much gonna be a .500 team. ;)

Just thought I'd let you guys know that I joined Chuck's fantasy baseball league this year - which ended yesterday.

After 6 grueling months of brilliant strategy moves, the boy from NJ has shown the beantown boys exactly how it is done. First Place! :D

Winner and New Champion... Dachay2tnr!!!!

It appears from this that I do much better in fantasy life than I do in real life. As a result I have begun looking for a fantasy stock market league to join. :( :( :(

Hey we have a retractable roof in our modern stadium, unlike that old decrepit one your team plays in.It's about time they built a new one.

iI'm not so sure the Brewers have what it takes to go anywhere in the playoffs, but they shouldn't be pushovers either.

C.C. is soooo going to cash in on this. They're loading up the Brinks trucks already.

Sounds like you won't be invited next year.:D

Have any Brewers on your team?

Summer is over

We may get a week of Indian summer, but other than that,it's done.

Actually I didn't. But then I didn't have any Yankees either.

The new one doesn't have a roof either. But I imagine for the price of the seats they probably will have someone come and hold an umbrella over your head.

My company have told me that I am still "between roles" and that I will be on fully paid gardening leave until at least the middle of November:eek: The world has gone mad:mad:

So I have repaired everything that needs fixing and have eBaye'd all my sound gear that I paid $200 for and have made $800 gross so far with a Yamaha keyboard and case, equipment rack, desk, DJ mixer unit, Combo amp and practice amp yet to go:D

I am working my way up to funding a new Strat:cool:

Do you know any out of work poor bankers?

My company have told me that I am still "between roles" and that I will be on fully paid gardening leave until at least the middle of November

That would only make sense if you had a "role" to start with, and the prospect of having one down the road. Consuming massive quantities of alcohol while dining in 4 star restaurants does not constitute a "role."

It seems to me that the company has gotten smart. While I realize they are paying you to stay home and do nothing, this is not much different than before, and they get the added benefit of not having to pay for your travel and entertainment expenses. :D

BTW, did I tell you I came in first place in Chuck's fantasy baseball league? :)

Ooooo thats very cutting! And I do NOT eat in 4 star restaurants. Only 5 star:D

And winning first place in a fantasy football league is about your level :p

:D

Work
I got a job I'm going to do on Sunday even though I may miss part of the Packers game.:(I don't want to pay a babysitter on Saturday,it cuts into the bottom line.;)
Speaking of babysitters, one more year and we're done. It'll be like getting a raise.

I'm getting sick of fantasy sports.I've never been in a league, but it seems like all the sports sites focus more on fantasy than real life.:mad:That's what porn sites are for.:D

You must be using the metric system of stars.

You mean there is a certain, specific age where they can take care of themselves??

What age is that?? I'm figuring my son must be getting darn pretty close by now.

Not a great day for Milwaukee sports yesterday, huh AR? ;)

It's still not too late to jump on the Giants bandwagon. They really took it to your homeboy Holmgren yesterday. Almost a perfect game.

It started Friday when the Cudahy Packers got stomped on homecoming night. Then it was the Badgers Saturday, followed by the Packers and Brewers on Sunday.

I had a hunch Sunday would suck that's why I worked.I've got two jobs this Sunday.:D:rolleyes:It seems like the only time I get jobs is when it's busy at work, and we are busy.

Also it's perfect working weather now.

Yes there is,but the answer depends on who you ask.

I always use the "when I was a kid" and my wife is quick to remind me that I had no upbringing.:oBut I turned out pretty good.:D:D:D

What age is that?? I'm figuring my son must be getting darn pretty close by now.

I moved out as as I was eighteen and moved back for a month once while between pads.I just wanted to drink and nail slutty babes and home was not exactly a hotbed for that kind of activity.

I lived above a bar,a barbershop and a record store/head shop, all places where I could be as loud as I wanted and have people over all hours of the night. Those were the days.:D

It's Friday!!!

I remember when that meant something around here.

The weather
Indian summer, enjoy it while you can....

Work
I'm working Sunday, right through the Packers game.:(But you've got to make hay while the sun's shining.

Have you seen this?

http://www.sonarvstudio.com/

Nothing I need or can afford but interesting none the less.

I've often thought about Tranzport or something wireless so I wouldn't need to go from the keyboard to the mics.

I did see it. It might have been something of interest if I was just starting out. It has the advantage of taking the guesswork and worry out of buying the individual components - will my sound card work with Sonar? How do I hook everything up? etc. etc. But the downside is that you're stuck with all Roland stuff.

I love, however, that whenever they show you pictures of this stuff, there are never any wires. What's up with that? My "studio" looks like a diagram for the central nervous system.

And where's the computer keyboard and mouse?

I'm thinking there will be variations or components available.SONAR 8 is included,so I'm thinking it's not backwards compatible or cross platform.

I'm not lacking for anything in S6,it's more than I'll ever need.

Sports
Well one New York NFL team won last weekend.:DAfter being called the toughest division in football the NFC east has lost to the Cardinals,Browns,Rams and Bears.I think last season shows that the team that's hot at the end of the year stands the best chance of going all the way.

Work
I have a job the third week in a row, whoo hoo!If this keeps up Daddy is going to get a new toy this year.
