i humbly submit a 3rd song to get ripped apart. I've kept working on the other 2 you've heard, but i couldn't keep this one out of the box for much longer. this is the drummer beat boxing at the beginning, pretending to be a turntable in the middle, and just after that he busts out a rap. The singer/acoustic guitarist isn't very featured in this song. its bass, drums, WAH(guitar), and FUNKY SHIT!

I whipped out that @3:51 thing at practice on Friday, they thought I was nuts.

@2:04, THAT'S the sound for the vox, IMHO. The subdued levels before that should come up to that level/intensity (IMHO, again). Not keen on the "Th th this is the verge, funkiest shit you've ever heard." Egoistic, IMHO (things happen in threes, ;))

@2:50, more pronounced wah, maybe?

@4:23, cool tones there...

If this is a "radio edit" type of a deal, I'd clean up the ending, maybe compress it to shit and then fade it so that it's just a clean smooth "available for talkover" type of a deal

4:40 is a great little riff (the whole 16 bars), I dig the song for that alone...

Sounding really good, Kristian.... IMHO! The recording sounds better than the song itself, which I hope you take as a compliment... (not too big on this particular song)

:D

I can see this recording session in my minds eye...."OK, everyone gather round and snort this stuff up. Ok, on three....":D
I like it!

I really dig the groove. Can't get enough of that funk. Great guitar stuff at the end.

Twist

hey, NICE!

I was wanting some more brightness, but thats ok,

I was also wanting more loudness, but that's ok too.

nice vocals.

Crazy but cool!I really like the chord progression and the funky wah made me wanna get funked up!

hello

thanks for listening everyone.

I can't figure out what happened. everything i recorded at this particular session sounds "dead" no brightness or prescence as some would put it. i wonder if its because they had so much foam all over the walls and ceilings? i recorded at the band's practice space. maybe i will take some of that down at the next session.
