Hi folks!

I had to look something up in the manual of my GT-8 and fall about something else, that caught my attention.

The GT-8 has a MIDI-Interface and if I got this right, I could send some "MIDI-Commands" to it, to change Patches (or more?!). There is a table that teaches me which commands have which effect.

Ok.

I am using Cubase LE at home and I am wondering how I would tell Cubase to send these commands to the GT-8. But I have abolutely no clue how to do this.

Could someone please point me the direction? If this is not possible with LE, could someone be so nice to tell me how this would work generally ... maybe on another version of Cubase? I don't think I will have a great advantage knowing it, but I am sooooo curious :-)

Thanks,
Sascha

Connect the midi out from your computer to the midi in of the GT then simply make a midi track in cubase and set the bank and program to whatever you want. It will change to the program when the track plays. I usually leave a little blank space before the track starts for all my midi setup stuff to be sent to all my instruments
