I must be the biggest dummy in the world. I have not found a way to open a file currently being used in Cubase 5 to Wavelab 4, or any external wave editor for that matter. The manual also does not have any information on how to do this. The only option I have that I am aware of is to open the internal wave editor, which does not do what I need it to. Not saying it is a bad editor, it just is not as robust, and does not utilize direct x plugins like Wavelab. Anyone know what I need to do? Cubase 5 does non destrutive edits, and will not allow me to open the original file and change it, so the only thing I can do, and it is sooo time consuming is mixdown the file to another file, start wavelab, open the file, process, and replace... Any ideas? Thanks!
