hey heres a question..?......i have seen a couple creed videos and i dont totally hate them or anything....but..do they have a bass player?????..i cannot remember seein himm if they do i know scott stapp..and the guitar player and the little blonde drummer guy...but i cannot for the life of me rem what the bass player looks like??!!????...is it just me???


confused....oh yeah..and if yer "six feet from the edge"....what does that have to do with .."six feet down"??...again maybe its just me???

i think their bass player quit or was fired or something.....last is saw the bass player from their opening act was filling in......Bon Jovi has a guy that plays and records with them and isnt an official member of the band....strange situation...guess cause he's bald......

again, i dont see why someone would put their energy into doing a song like that,no matter how funny it is.....

What If = Creed song (non-radio, but very popular w/fans)
WATYF = some Canadian wannabe oat there somewhere, eh :p

Creed's radio stuff is the dregs. For the good stuff, ya gotta hit the non radio trax. "My Own Prison" is hardly played ever played on air, but it's also cool.

oddly enough.. I did laugh when I first heard "What If" cause at the end, when he screams, it sounds like he's yelling "WATYF! WATYF!" :p

the only problem i think is that you cant understand half of the lyrics in the verse. maybe harmony backing part too loud or lead vocals a tad too soft. might just be me.

oh by the way....MY own prison was the only song of creeds that was half decent and thats before anyone had even heard of them.

Darth, your harmonies sound awesome!!!! I am SO jealous!!

'What if" Scott Stapp stopped making that damned rotten "mid-back-of-the-throat rumble" that no human should ever make...and no human normally makes.

Well then, he would be a singer, not just a front man that sports an alternate voice when he gets in the studio or on stage.

I wonder if he really talks like that all of the time...with that overblown Eddie Vedder voice. Surely it's not possible that someone speaks like naturally...I won't believe it.

Some of Creed's music is fine, and even some of the lyrics...but JESUS, anybody that thinks Scott Stapp is a credible individual should be made to eat plutonium.

I won't listen to any singer seriously who's voice sounds physically different in interviews than it does in the studio. If you have to make your voice sound different when you sing, then DON'T SING. Your voice wasn't meant for it.

(It just so happens that my opinion is very close to that of the song that this post was originally about!)

lol.. I know what you mean... the first time I saw him interviewed (VH-1) I couldn't believe how his speaking voice sounded. He had this little, timid sounding boyish voice...

I must admit, though.. I don't mind the "gruffy" male voice sound. I liked Vedder,... still do. I think way too many people have ripped his style off, sure,.. but I can't say that I don't like that "sound", regardless of how many times it's been copied.

any compression on it? was the guitar recorded direct or amp?

Hey ZEKE...it's a D112 right inside the kick drum...pointed about half way in between the beater and the rim.
