bdemenil,

Problem solved...at least that problem@#$%. I have a version of Vegas that I've never used and last night I tried recording with it and everything worked. Obviously the problem was in Ntrack so I needed a reinstall. I opted to upgrade to 3.0 which solved the "skipping" thing but now some of my audio is missing. The tracks show in the window but some of them have no audio.

Go figure....I'm now trying to work that one out.

Call me crazy, but I have had that problem once going to a new version....what I had to do was open up the new version and import each individual wav file in with the Import function and save it as a new name.....

Gidge,

Yes I've got everything backed but damn I didn't want to have to do that. I haven't looked to see but I hope the effects I've applied are still there. I name all my presets to the song but things like order and track volume and just which effects I've applied to which tracks. Hopefully it's all there so I don't have to remix... though I get better every time so maybe I shouldn't complain so much. Damn I'm a lazy bastard. Wouldn't this problem imply that there is a bug in the npk. file transfers when upgrading?

3.0 looks cool and I do use Soundforge EQ and who knows maybe someday I'll get into the midi stuff...

Hope you're doing alright today neighbor......Hey I just saw that Tom Hicks is logged from Cowtown....Maybe we should form the NTrack "Bubba Triangle".

See ya,
RK
