I used to use CEP2 but can't because of the ASIO (or lack there of) drivers...so now I am using a combo of CEP & Cubase SX. Cubase for tracking, CEP for mixing...

1) why is it when I try to move a wav file over to CEP and use the start time of that wave as the block offset in CEP does it not synch?

2) What is the difference between saving the tracks as wav.s as opposed to broadcast waves?

3) can you draw envelope filters in the multi track view like you can in CEP (one of the main reasons I am still using CEP)

Thanks!

I don't use CEP, and I'm affraid that I can't help you with 1 and 3, but regarding question 2...broadcast waves are simply wave files that carry a bit of extra information. I believe the extra information is artist name, project name, that kind of info, that sticks to the files and can be viewed in Cubase.

If you look in the manual under broadcast wave file they give you the specifics.

Good luck on your other questions.
