Wouldnt that really suck though? Running onboard video(single) causes conflicts within your system. And having two, will be even more troublesome.
I agree

although it doesn't really cause "conflicts" its really just slooooows things down..

Whateva u do dont get an Emachines computer either jus dont they arent real good wit music. But anways you can sometimes find nice PC's on ebay for a good price. And if you are a PC expert its a possibility you could jus build your own PC. Check da link below.

I got an emachine right in front of me that seems to do pretty well. I would'nt condemn any brand or make of computer until you know what's inside. Otherwise you're just being ignorant.

Just to let you know I have an Emachine sitting right in front of me as we speak so um i do know what im talkin about. THis computer isnt that good when running alot of VST's and stuff but its an ok computer and can get the job done but i dont recommend it. Now how u like that being told from a WOMAN'S point of view.

i don't care if you're woman, man, or ape. a brand name does'nt make or break a computer. what's in it does. for all i know, your emachine has a slow hard drive and bad chipset. do you know why your particular emachine is'nt that good? i assure you that it's not the little label on the front of the machine.

unless you know which components hold back your particular pc's performance and you know that those same components are in every machine made by that company, you can't conclude that every pc that company makes is bad.

Minion ---who sold you the PC..How much..Is it realiable????

Vspace where did you get your PC

Where did you get your PC, SPecs is it realiable for recording????

very true travis...

however... the "brand name" pcs are usually the ones that have the most problems. I haven't seen a good dell yet. Everything is proprietary in those systems. I have seen some pretty good emachines, and I will agree with you as well because alot of people despise gateway.. but I had a tank a few years ago that lasted A VERY LONG TIME and never gave me any problems.

my brother has a compaq that has been like a tank. i have worked on a couple of compaq's that were utterly hopeless.

i agree that ready-made pc's generally have more problems than self built ones. i also sincerely believe the reason is that when someone buys a ready-made pc, they don't do any research to find out exactly what's in it like someone would when building their own. you can have the fastest processor on the planet but if the ram is crap or the mobo chipset has issues then it does'nt matter.
