I hit something while working and now only one chanel is coming out when monoriting. Can anyone tell me what I hit and how I can get it so audio is coming out both the left and right channels.

Why don't you just trace the chain...? No one is going to know anything without actually being able to physically trace the chain.

I did and I don't believe the chain is the problem. No audio is coming out the right side. I've opened other sessions and their working properly, so I have to think it's something I've done in this particular session.

Thanks

If you were talking about edit view I could give you a possible answer but in Multitrack view ... hm
How many tracks do you have?
I don’t think you panned them to one side by accident or moved envelopes but …

I noticed, only the left channel is used on my M-Audio Delta 44, when I play back a mono floating point sample.

interesting... does it come out both channels in another soundcard?

I bypassed my usual soundcard (Mackie Onyx) and went to the computers and did the same test. Two different sessions one only the left side and the other both channels fine.

I checked and everything is panned right. I checked the envelops on all the tracks and their all even at zero. So I know I'm missing something. I may have to break down and call Adobe but that usually costs some cash.

I would check the output device settings on each track.

Yep. Sounds like you went into Device Settings and changed the output to Left and clicked "same for all tracks".
