Good source for 1/4" SM 468 if you want to give it a go on anything from the 22-2, 32, 388, R8, etc. This is where I get mine and they're nice people... good price for it too. Since RMGI will be cranking this stuff out in the future this may be a good time to grab some and see what you think... I like it! :)

PS: The on-line checkout is buggy sometimes, so you may want to give em a call. ;)

I know there's been some mention of the tape from you and perhaps some others in past threads but what's the story on the SM 468 ? Is it bias compatible with the Quantegy 400 series as in no need to rebias my TASCAM 388 and TEAC 3440 recorders ? What's the "sound" of the 468 ? How does it stack up in overall quality to the other brands etc .... ? Any additional info would be appreciated.

Btw, $7.75 sure is inexpensive.
