Proveras

I like my recordings.
My homestudio already has a name:
Producciones VERAS! (thats why Proveras.)

veras means "you will see". nothing to do with ears.

I want to make some money from my studio with the local bands, so I have to give it a REAL name, something like:

WAVE SOUND STUDIO PRODUCTIONS. not give it just
"my last name studio"

so, how do you choose the very important name of your studios?

Proveras...
Your studio name should depend on what you are trying to convey to potential customers.

Are you trying to imply high-quality?
"ProSound Studios"
"ProEdge Productions"
"Four Star Studios"

Are you trying to catch people's attention with a slick name?
"Ground Sound Productions"
"Thrill Shrill Studios"
"Slick Banana Studios"

Only YOU know what would really fit.

As for me, I've got "Small Potatoes Studios"...
I'm a realist. :D

Proveras, I think Buck's nailed it for you - 'Slick Banana'. Yup, it's got the magic. Plus if you spell it in capital letters all close up together, it looks a bit rude. :)

Buck's right twice - what kind of an image do you want to project? What kind of customers will you have? What kind of image would they like?

Which is why, if it was me, I'd go for Slick Banana.

Studio Names

Proveras,
I used the initals of my wife and myself and our last name. It so happens that the initial came out BMG.
At first I said whoa...
There is already a BMG. So we tagged on sound productions.
We decided to name the studio BMG Sound Productions Inc.
With the name change and incorporation. BMG has no repercussions.
