ok, stands for NGIAS F W A... does it end with "with attitude"? :)

I liked it. Old school rap feel to it - can't go wrong there. Nice production. Big, big improvement over "Beard Eve" in production and performance. Honestly the Beard Eve song was pretty whack - didn't have half the rhythm or soul of the newer song. I'm not saying you don't have what it takes, but it's just tough to really learn how to "perform" when you're recording. I've been recording for years and I'm still learning how to perform in front of the condenser as well as I do playing live. Keep working - you definitely have the potential, and a good quality voice for rap.

I would boost the lead vocal a bit, maybe? It seemed to get buried a little. I'd also like to hear this song a little faster tempo - seems to drag a little bit, and the vocals sound like they're trying to rush the beat a bit in spots (like at 1:06 "he practically")

I appreciate the feedback. I'm glad someone finally took the time to listen and give a viable critique.

I just got my Alesis M1 monitors right before I started this project, and they helped a lot with the mix. It's my friend rapping, and me doing the chorus vocals and playing all the instruments. We both have access to this username though, so you can talk to us interchangably.

I think there is some midrange battle going on in the song that takes out the vocals sometimes, but I don't know how to combat it in the parts where it's fine, because then, they'd be too loud.

Compression on the vox maybe?
 
Cool stuff, I grew up on rap although I wouldn't dare try it myself :D

I'd raise the guitar, it's being drowned out by the organ in the verse. I'd try a harmony in the chorus as well.
 
Thanks, I'm terrible at singing harmony, so I don't know if that's going to be happening. :-(
 
Bring up the vocal part that starts at 1:15 - Im having a hard time understanding what he's saying.

I liked the song otherwise, great beat, funny lyrics.
