Hi everyone!!!
This is my first post. I've been hanging around the VS boards for about a year now and decided to start to frequent over here as well. If you have a chance, check out my new music page at

www.emotionalevolution.org/music.html

At this point, I'm just looking for some general feedback on how you may like/ or dislike my stuff. Feel free to rip on a specific song or my lack of talent in general ;-)

You're Gonna' See

Listened to "your gonna' see." Cool. Reminds me of "The Band," only not so country-fried.

Again, cool. I'll listen to more.

I listened to another tune, because I knew I'd disagree with whatever MoronHead said.

THICKER THE BLOOD - I was really expecting this to be death metal because of the blood references and all, so I was shocked to hear a positive tune.

I couldn't make out any major problems, and I'll bet you listened to a lot of Grateful Dead.

Fine Work my friend,

Freedom rock!

Listened to You're gonna see--First thing I notice was the beginning guitars-are they all in tune? I would like some more high end sparkle on the acoustics. Is my head on backwards or are the drums panned from the drummers perspective? I like that layered harmony guitar solo-good guitar work all around. Sounds like a les paul...Vocals sound good to me. Pretty good tune! Other folks can give better sonic assesments than me. I do, however, have a few tips of another kind.....

1) Post up your songs one at a time by name-you can get alot more mileage out of them that way.(I did the same thing in my first post-dropped my lifes work in one post which got 2 responses lol)

2) Listen to some other peoples stuff and comment-people will remember that you listened to there stuff and do the same for you.simple.

Anyway-welcome and I'll try to get back to listen to some more soon.

Excellent advice Stratomaster!!!!

I've been very guilty of that on the VS forum-not commenting on other peoples stuff and asking them for feedback on mine. I will try to put out more feedback as well as elicit it in the future.

The guitars are not reallu clear in your gonna see. It seems as if the other instruments are drowning it out.

But imho, the voice has been recorded very nicely. The harmonies are really nice also. As melonhead said, the chorus really reminded me of The Band!

Cheers!
