Cakewalk freezing after recording..please help!!!

i am using cakewalk sonar home studio 4 and i can record fine..but once i stop recording, cakewalk will freeze and not respond..after about 15-30 seconds it will respond again and the recording will be there and everything will be fine but it does this everytime i record..any advice??

CW is writing your audio to disk.

More RAM in your machine might help with this.

definitly a ram issue.......you will have to up grade to at least min 2 gig of ram. that should help.
