Hello,
I would like to buy some auralex stuff (something like this http://accessories.musiciansfriend.com/product/Auralex-DS2-Pro-Designer-Kit?sku=420869). But before I do, I am not sure if I have my mixing desk in the most ideal spot.
I have a differently shaped room, which is my basement, as well as some unfortunate door ways that I am worried about.
What I would like to know is if my mixing desk should be in a different place, taking into account where the doorways are, as well as the dimensions of the room.
note: floor to ceiling = 8ft
I whipped up an overhead diagram of my basement with ESTIMATED dimensions, which are accurate to around 0-2 inches, and supplied some photos (shitty quality, phone camera) and show their vantage points on the overhead diagram.
note: My basement currently has alot of boxes and other stuff, including a couch and carpeting which I plan on removing.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated,
Thanks,
Joe
