Hello guys
I'm new to recording system type of products. Never used one or never learned anything about recording. But then, I thought of building a home recording system in my room on a computer base because my hobby is singing (suck at singing tho :) ). I don't have any products what so ever, I recorded some singing of myself thru Creative Recording System, well as you guys know it's not the best software to use for recording. Want a good quality voice recording. So I'm posting this thread for advices on what to buy for voice recording only. I use MR for recording with my voice so no other instruments going to played maybe in the future (learning to play guitar). Read some threads and they are saying that I would need an interface (don't know what that is), Condenser (no clue), and other equipments. Please Help~~~ THANKS~

You need a good mic (condensor is a type of microphone), an interface (it transfers the audio-electric signal from a microphone to digital signal, which is what the computer needs.)
You can download Audacity and Reaper recording software for free (Reaper asks you to pay once you've tried it).
You'll need headphones (and monitor speakers, too, eventually).

Thanks a lot for your comment, but what are some condensor, interface, monitors, and such. Any recommendation on price around $800 ~ $1000?
Was looking around website saw this bundle http://pro-audio.musiciansfriend.com/product/M-Audio-ProFire-610-Recording-Package?sku=501289 was curious if this was a good set of system to be put in a small room for voice recording (mostly singing).

You see that thing at the top of the page that says "Don't post until you read?"

Go read it. At least learn what things are before you start asking questions.

Educate yourself and you'll get to where you want to go a lot more quickly.
