Building a Guitar Speaker Cabinet

So... I got a pair of pretty nice 100 watt stereo speakers someone gave me because the tweeters were blown. I pulled the woofers out so now I have a pair of 10" 8 Ohm woofers sitting in my garage. I have a lot of tools and a home depot credit card...

Should I try to build an extra guitar cab out of MDF? I build stuff but have never built a speaker cabinet and I the stuff I have read looks pretty technical (for home stereo speakers anyway) but I figured these might be simpler because they are just woofers...

Think it would be worth it? Anyone ever build a speaker cab for a guitar amp?

Speakers that are designed for home stereos suck as guitar speakers. MDF is fine for stereo speakers but it's the worst material for building a guitar cab. So no it's not worth it.
