I believe theres a buffer size lower than 11.6 msec, but i can't find, anyone know how?
I am getting very slight delay with guitar solo notes.
 
the latency depends on the type of audio (asio, mme, wdm/dx) driver you are using, the buffer size, and the number of "buffers in playback queue".

with a 44.1khz sample rate, 2 'bipq', and asio4all drivers to my laptop soundcard the best i can do is 11.6msec. however, if i set the sample rate to 88.2khz, the latency (delay) drops to 5.8msec. haven't figured that mathematical oddity out yet.
 
I use WDM, 44.1khz sample rate, 2 'bipq'. When I changed to 88 sampling, the CPU usage went up to like 80 percent. Project skipping and choking. Had to go back to 44.1.
