BR-8 Problems

Has anyone ever had a problem w/ the BR-8 where it no longer reads Zip disks? Recently, my BR-8 has been rejecting all zip disks that I've placed in there and tried to format. If anyone has had experience with this, let me know if/how you solved it. I'm thinking of just trying to replace the drive w/ a 250MB one if anything since I won't have to worry about warranty (puchased the BR-8 in 2000 or 2001, so I'm pretty sure warranty has expired).

Did you place new disk in the drive to see if that was the problem? How old are the disk you are using? I have some that won't work cause they are wore out but the'll last a few years depending on the use.

Just follow the link and replace it.
It takes 15 minutes, and doesn't cost that much.
When you are done it's good as new, and you have the extra space if you need it.

I have been using a BR8 for at least three years and haven't encountered any Zip disc problems...except trying to find places to buy them, haha.
