I have an alesis studio 32 mixer which i use the direct outs to send the signal to my adats. Since i do alot of drum recording i can't really use my grp outs to route to my adat.
My question is, if i want to bounce say a vocal track on track 1 to track 2, can i just send track 1 to one of my 4 grp outputs and then patch the grp out into another channel input to record or bounce the track ? My old mixer had a switches on each channel that allowed the grp to become the source for whichever channel you chose so im a little disoriented on this mixer.
