Very smooth scrubs, a relaxing listen.

You guys are in Idaho? Pretty cool, I was just in Pocatello/Idaho Falls two weeks ago

Cool entertaining solos all around.

Lbanks with the wa-wa bass, and for the first time a 6 string distorted gtr? Or is that a bass - some kind of esoteric high range bass from your collection through illegal-in-some-states guitar effects, heh-heh?
Just the bass and the Squire Strat.

Nice 'cascades'; sweet tone!

Rami, nice feel to the bongo line. Not overbearing but clear and expressive.

Mixmkr, great tone and intensity. The backwards count in is great.

Space, a delicate approach that fits the style

Chris, interesting vibrato excursion gravitating to heavy distorted gtr for a strong conclusion. Nice phrasing.

Scrubs, full tone, hot mix, effective use of double stops, followed the changes well. As a mix, the track would pair well with Mixmkr's in a motivic sense.

Enjoyable playing, guys.

Tim

evhwanabe, realized I had missed yours... man it's hard to keep track of all the Rumble solos :D . Beautiful - slinky slide-y with an oddly rich-but-light tone and gentle bends.

Timothy Lawler needs to get off his northwest beautiful cushy life, and make one two minute solo. :D

I had been tracking my solo but my adopted whale pod called to me telepathically and I was obligated to swim and commune with my aquatic orca brethren. All us northwesterners are into that kind of touchy-feely sh*t. He didn't mean to but Namu, a young and feisty orca, playfully bit off my left arm during the encounter, so I may be delayed in adding a bossa nova solo until I get enough acupuncture and ancient herbal treatment to regrow the limb. Thank god I live in the northwest, home of the only true American counterculture.

Thanks, Tim. Since you didn't ask, I'm going to bore you all with the signal chain, anyway. I was pretty happy with the tone I got on this one (now, if I could only get my fat fingers to go where I want them). I used a Yamaha telecaster copy on the neck (lipstick) pickup-->GT Brick Preamp (cranked)-->Fender Acoustasonic amp (eq settings flat)-->miked with my new Nady RSM-2 Ribbon mic (smooth)-->into the Studio Projects VTB-1 pre (a little toob grit added)-->Tascam US-122. In cubase, I added a little reverb with the GlaceVerb plugin and slammed the whole mix with the BetaBugs W1 Limiter. I liked how the guitar tone came out mellow and round, with just a hint of overdrive.
