Big Muff

I've heard more people prefer the russian for bass and the amerian for guitar, aside form that I've also heard the American's are better made construction wide. Point to prove: it's a good thing they didn't make there tanks the same way otherwise they'd all be speaking German.....

I've had a totally different experience. I've had my russian for a few years now, bought it used, and its never failed me once. it is built like a freakin tank. OTOH, my bass player's nyc made muff totally crapped out on a few gigs and I had to replace the switch on it. for whatever reason, they use a stereo switch and the thing cost me like 12 bucks.

I have a Big Muff NYC model and it's friggin great! Great distortion for my needs. Add a Small Clone and it's a friggin retro rock monster. :cool:
