Better Latency than never?

I think not. Soft synth problems with latency, particularly with soft synth drum program. Posted this question in keyboard section, no answer so a far. Will USB midi keyboard controller reduce soft synth latency as compared to controlling soft synth through Miditimpiece AV with workstation keyboard.

I thought that I read that someone did answer this question for you.

They told you that the manner of input would make no difference and that the latency issue is determined between your software and your hardware (sound card and CPU not your controller).
