Hey everybody. I just had a girl come into my studio today with a pre recorded track and I put her vocals onto it. The only problem with it is sometimes her voice is loud, sometimes quiet. For the most part I usually don't have this problem, but for some reason I'm having such a hard time with this recording...
SO
for the future, to make this easiets on me, with no hasstle later, what is the best gate/ compressor etc that I could sue to eliminate the problem?
I as of now have an AT2020 mic connected to my Studio Projects TubePRE to my mixer running through cubase. Typically I'll use Ozone 3 and a vintage effect along with a nice reverb (all done in my vocal booth)
Is there a suggested compressor to get that will fix that horrible volume problem?
thanks
