Best Bass amp combo under $400

Anyone out there got an opinion on what the best bass amp combo is for under $400. It will be used with a P Bass, and must be loud enough to hold it's own with drums and two guitars - music style is Rock/Punk

I got my daughter a Behringer bass combo amp. I forget the model but it was about $300 and suprisingly good, and loud enough for a moderately-sized club.

I play in a metal band. I use a Crate bt50. You can get one anywhere for $250. For $350 you can get the bt100.

I'm using a Roland DB500 and like it alot. They 've been discontinued so I was able to get mine for a little over $300 new. It's pretty loud and not too heavy.
Lately I've been hearing good things about the Ashdown Mag combo's. If I was buying a new amp today I'd definatly be checking these out.
