Tried a different room to mix in hopefully that may have been a problem with my non existent bass presence in my mixes

Yes, mix sounds good. Youtube is not the best place for mix judging, due to how the site's settings for video compresses the audio.

Bass sounds good on my phones, good balance on mix. Vox could benefit from a little verb imo.
