First of all, I'm not sure if I post this thread in the right subforum. 
Anyway, this week I have started my adventure with home recording. Bought Cakewalk UA-1G and trying to record some bass tunes.
But there's a problem. My bass recordings sound kind of muffled, dull and very quiet, no matter if I use Sonar LE, Audacity or GuitarRig. Some people have better sounding recordings using integrated soundcard.
What do I have to do to make it sound better? Please, help me, it's really important to me!
