Bass Drum Mic Shoot-Out: Beta 52 vs. AT4047

I like the Sennheiser e602 on Kick, inside about 4" from the head, a little off axis but pointing at the beater...though I think with any spot mic you really have to take into account the OH mics.
Most of drum sound I use comes from the OH pair...and the spot mics on Kick and Snare just fill out the sound.

To me, the 52 has a contemporary sound, whereas the 4047 has a big, natural sound. Both are good, if I had either one I'd be happy. But I prefer the 4047's tone. It has more raw oomph.
 
I felt like the kick was brighter with the 4047. I'm not usually a big fan of AT mic's.
