I am new to the website, but was wondering if anyone could help me out here. I bought a new desk for studio use, and was wondering where i should place it. I plan to be okay with moving everything around except the shelving unit and if I have to I will move my bed. I plan to place the new desk where the TV center is, so i must rid of the sofa as well as the white storage shelf (near sofa). If i did that I would have about 7 feet of space to work with.

My old desk was three feet so this is quite the upgrade!

Thanks for the help!

I'd put the desk at the bottom of the drawing where the bed is now, with the speakers pointing up toward the alcove. Be sure to keep the desk centered left and right in the room. More here:

Thanks Ethan !

I also wanted to include a real life picture of the space you told me to use, i did forget to mention that there are those surfboards hanging on the wall. I was wondering if that was a issue or not ?

I got a new account to replace the old one "meq222". I am now 626michael.

I would like to say that I upgraded my studio and got the new desk! I moved all around and I was very impressed with the results! Thanks Ethan for helping me out! It sounds like a completely different set of monitors when I formed the "equilateral triangle". To anyone else out there who has some cash to get a new desk for their studio: put your desk in the center of the room and make sure it is wide enough that three feet can be between the monitors!

Thanks all!
-Mike
