Did a live recording a week ago.

Had to redo all the guitars due to tuning problems.

So Only bass and drums are live.

Instruments used, and microphones used:

Interface: Firepod.

Drums: Kick ,b52, Snare sm57, toms sm57, shure pg 81 1 OH`mic.

Bass Di`d from ampeg.

Guitars sm57.

Flute and vox, Mxl v67 g.

So thats about it.

Sounds pretty good.

The shouted vocals could maybe come down a bit. Maybe, It might actually be ok as is.

As with most mixes, I wouldn't object to more bass guitar. :D
 
when you say live, do you mean like at a bar or some venue?
 
Sounds pretty good...I enjoyed listening to it...nice job...kind of a retro sound.
 
A Yes intro then a King Crimson change - how much better does it get?
THEN you do your own thing - cool.
Flautist was a nice change up from clean to locomotive breath - good follow of that rhythm by the band.
Terrific job for live with dubs.
I enjoyed the journey.

when you say live, do you mean like at a bar or some venue?

I mean as in all instruments recorded at one time.
Instead of the one by one isntrument kind of recording.

this was recorded at our rehearsal place:)

Thanks flute was put through some tube distortion, to get that early tull sound, not quite there yet. but fun it is

This is probbably one of the bands favorite tunes to play.

nice retro

it sound to me like a kind of Rainbow.

Very "ambiance" song. I like it a lot.
