Band demo song

So my band recorded this song a little bit ago in a studion near my town and i was just wondereing if anyone would like to comment on how bad/good of a job the studio did as well as how bad/good of a song it is. we are just a rock/post whatever whatever whatever band if anyone cares not sure how to describe it.

myspace.com takes forever to load. I have given up on quite a few attempts at listening to tunes on myspace. i would suggest soundclick.com. it loads quick every time. sorry, did'nt get to listen to your demo.
 
Some one has to have some kind of opinion I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm listening now. Maybe its just me but the "feel" seems a little hard to find - a different rhythm than I'm used to. I like the guitar a lot - sounds cool - I love melodic electric guitar stuff. Drums sound good, too.

Pretty good vocals - I'm not a fan of the talking thing within the song, but that's my opinion.

OK, when the distorted guitar comes in, the tone is kinda bad for me - sounds "cheap" and "thin", especially compared to the cleaner tone.

You do the all-to-cliche' screaming type thing at the end, too - which is cool, but I get kinda tired after every band in this genre does it on every song. My 2 cents. I have about no room to talk, though - all my stuff does the same things over and over, and it all mimmics the genre that I write to. Perhaps I should take my own advice.

Pretty cool song, overall, though. Tame that distorted guitar and you'd have it. I said a lot of negative things, but I really enjoyed listening to it. I am listening on really crappy computer speakers, though - so take whatever I say with a grain of salt.

the tunes pretty cool for that style. some things I noticed......the intro sounds loose, the distorted guitar sounds muffled and bassy, when the distorted guitar kicks in, the mix sounds alot different, its not a good transition. the drums sound sound all trebly, no low end in them. the drums don't really have any dynamics. is this a triggered set? I'd say that for a studio recording, even just a live studio recording, they did'nt do a good job. I like most of the vocal stuff and the tune itself but I would'nt go back to that studio, if your paying anyway.
 
The intro sounds like a guitar player programed a drum machine. The beat doesn't really help the song along. A more fluid beat would sound better IMHO. The drums/guitars sound kind of thin overall but its hard to tell if thats a result of the MP3 encoding on Myspace. Cymbals/hats are pretty far back in the mix or their blending in too much. Vocals kind of sound like Far. Not really my fav style of music. Not sure what you paid but I think you could do better on the studio.
