Well, right off I love the guitar tone. Drums seem pretty full to me. Nice harmonics on the guitar. Sounds like there is room for vocals, and still a very full sound. Cymbals seem to sound really good. Nice crashes, and not stepping on anything else. Bass drum was easy to hear. Shows I got lots to work on myself....

Nice tune dude. And Happy Ones to you and yours....

very very nice riffing.
it's pretty balanced well.
The only suggestion I have is maybe a little more brightness to the cymbals. Usually, your work would have nice and crisp cymbals (which I love btw)

The kick is just one thing you can never ever forget....how did you accomplish that? EQ settings? I'm looking for a similar kick sound. So great help would be appreciated.

Outrageous riffing, tight as a fish's bits. Great tone & cool programming.

Sonic assualt, I'm beaten up with this

I took the front head off.
Then miced it with a silver d6 about 6 inches from the beater at a slight angle.
That went to a neve, then with a digi eq i boosted 6db of 5-6k, and swept 5 db out of the 230-500 region, then boosted 3 db with a narrow q at 60hz.
I hi passed at 55hz, and low passed at 11khz.

Then compressed it to even it out, an added some light plate reverb with no predelay on one channel. Then on another channel it got parallel compressed with the snare and toms.

Thanks man.
ALOT of editing and looping on this one.
Tedious. Im hoping it didnt suck too much life out of it...

Can't hear anything wrong with this. It's quite good. This is probably one of the best sounds you've gotten. Great band too.

Thanks duder. :D

Cool old school slayer-esqe thrash going on here. The sounds are right on par with most of the metal stuff thats getting released now days. I am interested in hearing this one with vocals. What type of amp was used for the guitar tones? Once again..great job

Thanks bro.
:D

The amp was a Marshall JCM 2000 Super lead, and the cab was a Marshall 4x12 1960 Vintage.

also what about the snare?
im just wondering..

The snare is a trigger of itself.
I believe it was a 14" Noble and cooley, with a Evans G2 coated head.
sm57 top and bottom to a neve portico.
