automation question

is there a way to draw in controller data rather than 1st having to record it, i want to edit the info so that it is nice and smooth and precise. if not, y not???!!!!???
even simple programs like fuity loops can manage that.

Hmmm... this annoys me too.

It's sort of pointless having automation on a computer based mixer if you can't get fades etc. to be any smoother than on a hardware mixer.

You can enter data if you open the audiotrack thingy.. but you can't draw it (as far as i know).
