Anyone heard of the AKAI 1710 W reel to reel

I didn't know where to post it so I decided to do it here where I usually hang out. Do anyone have ever heard of this tape machine (didn't find much on google). A guy is selling it with 30 tapes for 75$ canadian (about 50 US)

Is it worth? I would like to get a reel to reel especialy for recording electric guitar.

Akai was first introduced in the US as the Roberts tape recorder. If you have the 15 ips option, it was a pretty decent machine.

I had one about 15 years ago. Loved it, but couldn't keep up the maintainence(sp?). Something was alway going bad. (belts, pads, capstan rollers)
