anyone have steven slate trigger or toontrack drumtrack?

I was wondering if either of these programs would work for my needs. I only have a two mic pre interface, don't have the money for a larger interface quite yet. I was wondering if I recorded drums with two overhead mics, if I could use either of the programs to replace the not so well mic'd drums in a midi track, and just us ezdrummer to replace them?

Not really. All these drum replacement programs only work when you have each drum on it's own channel. That's not to say that you couldn't cut up the recorded track, separating each drum to its own channel. But that's a lot of fooling around.

Yeah, that's what I came up with as well. It sounds like more of a hassle, guess I just need to talk the old lady into letting me get a new interface lol.
