Pop/click sound coming Behringer 1204USB mixer

I have a couple overhead mic's plugged into the XLR in of the 1204USB mixer board. From there I have the audio going out using the control room out dual 1/4 TRS out to single 1/4 TRS which goes into a drum interface - Yamaha EAD10. Link to this cable used here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08ZKBG9TC

Every few seconds or so, especially when I'm playing faster, I keep getting a static/ pop type noise. It sounds as if I'm unplugging or plugging in a mic. Here's an example of the sound:

The EAD10 interface comes with a mic so to troubleshoot this, I've plugged that mic directly into the interface circumventing the mixer. No pops or clicks.

So it seems this is coming from either the mixer board or the TRS cable connecting the mixer to the interface. I've been able to reproduce the sound by unplugging/ plugging back in the TRS cable from the back of the mixer board -

BUT when this occurs, it's when the cables are plugged in and secure. These are newer cables too and do not travel with them; they've stayed put.

Wondering if anyone else has had this issue before? Is this called a pop or click or is it something else? Static discharge?

Is there a way to mitigate it? Ground loop hum eliminator device like this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000KUD2G4/ ? Should I use the XLR main outs on the mixer vs TRS control outs?

Just a shot in the dark here . . . is the mixer's USB connected to a computer? Do you have a wi-fi adapter connected to the same computer? Turning off or removing the adapter could eliminate the noise.

I have the mixer go to the EAD10 drum interface and then USB out from the EAD10 interface into a laptop. It's not an external wifi adapter, just whatever is inside of the laptop. I can try to turn that off; would be surprised if that worked but thanks for the tip!
