I'm in a Love/Hate relationship with Line 6.
I think Line 6 Put out a Decent Pod Pro, Flextone II HD, and some Delay Modelers.
I bought the orginal POD 2.0 and it would change volumes on me here and there.
I bought the Chrome POD 2.0 for my girlfriend and it would not only change volume but change presets within a minute of turning it on almost every time you play it.
My POD Pro would have some strange echos occur from time to time when I first got it but works fine now.
And
my Flextone II HD just started doing some weird shit where after 15 minutes to 30 minutes of playing it all the sudden loses power and has to be shut off and after sitting for 5-10 minutes turns back on and does the same thing repeatedly. Its only few years old and is mainly a practice head that doesn't get used too much. Still has problems.
How they can release products with so many problems is beyond me.
I have an Ampeg VL-1002 100 Watt Tube Head that is 17 years old and still plays flawless.
My Flextone II HD has a pretty damn good sound compared to my Peavey XXX and 5150 Tube Head.
But the best sounds are when they are ran through a Tube Power Amp. Especially with a Bellari Tube Sonic Exciter.
But I think all of there products have some hiccups from time to time.
Glitches here or there.
Lately, I say Line 6 has gone way down hill.
Maybe a small spider 10 combo would be a great first time amp for the price.
But as for now and the Future I don't think I will ever buy from them again.
