I originally bought this from forum member Beck, a reliable source. Very low hours when purchased from him a few years back, and only used a handful of times since then on my very nice Tascam 48 and 58 machines I used to own.
This is THE test tape you will see mentioned in your Tascam 48 and 58 manuals, maybe other models too. It is a 250nWb/m multifrequency test tape, 15ips IEC. This is a "cadillac" test tape. The "-2" in the 1144-2 model number means it is on new post-sticky-era tape stock.
I haven't had a 1/2" machine in years now. Time to get rid of stuff.
