Any info on this odd looking Sennheiser?

Sennheiser MD441, anyone know anything about it? I have one offered to me, used, for $100. I can't even find a list price on it anywhere.

Well, good for WHAT? I know NOTHING about this mic, I can't find it for sale anywhere... what does it retail for? Know anyplace online that has them?
Where is the diapragm? At 1st I thought from its looks it was a ribbon, but no. Good snare mic? Kick? Guitar?

It sure is ugly.

Hey, someone over at RO just told me they can get $500 used and its one of the best dynamics around, in his opinion.

Might just buy it.

It's probably my favorite dynamic mic! It's just about the ONLY dynamic mic that can kick some worthy ass next to some popular condensers! Believe it or not, it'll kick ass on vox even next to a condenser! And I don't even have one! It's MY next dynamic purchase. So, buy the damn thing! It'll kick YO ass!
