My set is very quiet till i connect my direct out via a JHS splitter to my interface.

At first you don't notice it but there is a very slight high pitch frequently in the signal.

I was looking at the palmer river wupper which seems to be the perfect solution.

I tried a hd400 a while ago but it literally destroyed my signal. The palmer looks a lot better on paper but i can't find any experiences with it which does worry me a bit ;)

Anyone here with experience?

I haven’t heard of it before you brought it up - what problem are you trying to fix? Is it live or studio or both?

Home Studio.
I record my guitar Direct and via a torpedo Capture X.
I have no issues in my setup with noise or whistles, but as soon as I connect the JHS Splitter to the interface I have a very faint whistle.
Tried a ground loop switch on the torpedo which did give some improvement.

When I disconnect the second cable from the splitter it's dead silent again.
I also use the interface for a loopback to external rack gear without issues so this one puzzled me to the point I rewired everything and still have the same issue, even with all the other gear on hardware off.

I tried a HD400 on that cable and it solved it right away but it destroyed my tone on the DI signal.
The Palmer promises a 1:1 so I hope that one solves it once and for all :D
Those small whistles are hardly noticeable till you hear them... I still can't listen to certain parts of Hysteria/Def Leppard where you hear the whistle from the Rockman.
