First off what a great site!

I've been working on my 20+ year analog setup(Tascam/Dokorder) and just recently got bitten by the digital bug.
Though primarly a guitarist, I have a sack full of toys for some interesting projects.

Can anyone recomend a good book or periodicals that I should pick up on home recording. I've just started browsing the site and it looks like there's a lot of answers to my main questions.

Thanks in advance,

djw

Hey Bones, (Welcome)

I'm VERY MUCH a "Newbie" myself and have found this site to be a wonderful resource with expert advice and opinions on every facit of the recording craft. As far as books go on the subject, I'm at a loss for a suggestion, but here's a link to another great site with articles on many topics that you might find helpful.

BTW, don't forget to drop into the "Analog only" forum (Of this site) for any (Analog) Tascam related subject's OR just to say "Hey".

Happy Recording
:)

I think most of the stuff you want/need to know is more easily found here and/or on the internet than any particular magazine. From my experience mags are better for reviews, sneak peeks and advertisements more than actual knowledge and expertise.
There are books that are good but it depends on what your looking for and there are better people suited to reccomend that than me....
