I just wanted to introduce myself and get a post under my belt. I've been playing guitar for around 25 years, mostly just for myself, but was part of a fun garage band that recorded a few pieces back in the analog days. With jobs, kids, and waning interest I have been out of the loop for the past decade or so and have recently discovered how accessible and affordable the digital age has made home recording.
Just a couple months ago I didn't even know what MIDI was, and now I can record just about any instrument known to man. Unbelievable!!! I'm like a kid in a candy store.
I definitely have the bug big time, especially with the quick learning curve due to the wealth of information available on sites like this. I'm excited beyond belief to get the songs I have put together over years out of my head and down on vinyl, ( or should I say digits).
