So i bought the ampeg ba 15, good little bass amp but what really sucks is that di (xlr out) is all fucked up and it sounds good but there is a fuzz in all the recordings that i make with it...any way i can fix this
thanks

Describe a fuzzy noise.

Is it a buzz, like a ground problem? Is it still under warranty?

You sure it isn't a distorted input type of fuzzzzz??? Not all DI out jacks will match levels correctly..... might need a pad or something??

Without hearing what you are talking about, I can't be sure. But Ampegs do have a certain amount of distortion, it's what they are famous for.

Obviously, if the sound is WAY different that what is coming out of the speakers, you have a problem.

it's like a click , click, and yes its only when its being recorded and its not coming out the the cab...what do you suggest that i do?
i don't use di really ever because i have never had equipment with the option so whats the whole distortion match thing?
thanks guys

Are you sure that you aren't clipping the DI or the preamp or the audio interface?

Maybe you could post a sample of the sound you are getting, it would help us identify the problem.

It should have a 20 db pad, have you tried that?
