I was a plastic-only man from 1984 through 2005. Now it's ultex or nuthin! 1mm and 1.14mm for me. If you haven't tried these, you should.
 
I used light/medium Sharkfins and Dunlop 0.50mm. I like them light and soft.
 
Plastic beer coasters? Well what do you put your beer on?

So you and your elephant have a biannual grooming event, right? Clip the toes, trim the tusk? How do your neighbors like the smell of elephant shit? :laughings:
 
I use a .73 almost exclusively. I never understood the appeal of the really thin/flimsy picks. Whenever I've tried them, all I can hear is that "playing-card-in-the-bicycle-spokes" sound, which I find incredibly irritating.

One of them complained one time, so I had the elephant knock down their house.

I keep the action high enough to slip a tusk under, and then I just mount the guitar on the elephant.
 
Does anyone use the kinky ones with the ribs...and the Brushes?
