It's not for promo purposes just messing around, but we are trying to get down with something legit and post it seriously a lil later.................He's free stylin after getting cut in the mouth a couple of weeks ago, trying to loosen up those big ole "Soup Coolers"

First of all, Im no rapper...But Ive heard AND recorded enough good freestyles in my day to know thats not one of them. Just putting words together isnt good enough...someone that thinks highly enough of his freestyle to record it better be able to come up with some punchlines. A dead giveaway that someone cant freestyle is excessive cursing (and the fact that he couldnt speak on nothin but gangsta sh#t). Your man did that ALL the way through. Thats just wasting bars searching for your next line...desperately trying to keep the flow consistent. I'ma tell you the truth, I HAD to cut it off halfway through! But I'll tell you this, freestyling is a gift in itself. Some got it, some dont...That doesnt mean your man cant spit a hot written. Some of the best rappers I know cant freestyle to save their life. They got HOT 16s though!
 
I agree with crunk trizz, but we discussed him before. I think he could write some good 16's though. That's why I don't freestyle though, I curse enough on bars.

He kinda sounds like a raw version of Busta Rhymes though

Sorry I wasn't expecting people to particularly rate his rhyming ability, he's already an established MC in Boston. He didn't know that I was recording him, that wasn't the idea! He got in a beef and his mouth was slit halfway open about three weeks ago, it's a wonder he even has speaking ability. He came by and was bugging out on the mic, trying to loosen up his mouth, and I recorded him because I thought it was Funny. (Not lyrically tight) There are songs we are working on and when they are complete I will post them, I thought I mentioned that. (Please don't take it serious, I guess it was funnier to me. I posted it for that simple fact Only!) SO I agree with you Crunk, it wasn't meant to be a hot freestyle, but just a bugout session...
And Fiev, the time that he has been down he has been writing more. Most of the mixtapes he has been on, someone has wrote for him. So in his defense, I shouldn't have even posted it. He will bug if he knew I did! (So let me get rid of it!!!)

Yeah, you should post some good tracks when you get em.
 
I hear what youre saying Trump. When I have a session with my artists, I dont even like to put it on a cd for THEM to listen to -- until its right (overdubs, addlibs, properly mixed)! People get so geeked up sometimes just because they recorded sumthin theyll show it off to as many folks as they can, when it aint even ready for all that. And it doesnt matter how much you tell people "it was just 1 take" or "its not finished yet", they STILL draw conclusions from it. At this point in the game, when youre still trying to establish yourself, you cant afford to let nobody hear nothin from you thats not fire! IMO, if youre not helping your rep, youre hurting it...

Some people do that though. I like to let people hear unfinished product so I can make changes to the final edit., but then again, that's more of a producer/engineer approach to things.

Most will be like "Check this new song I did, it's called Laffy Taffy and I swear it's tha bomb"
