b. - to+ and + to -?

ha...

btw, i'm talking speaker connections

"a", unless you're wiring 2 speakers in series on one channel...

while im at it, can you hook up 2 recievers to one cd deck? how would i do it, i cant figure it out, ha.

(the point would be to get more speakers playing the same thing..)

You can hook up two INPUTS to one OUTPUT with a "Y" connector, and you may or may not get any distortion depending on the output's ability to drive two sources. but NEVER, NEVER, NEVER hook up two OUTPUTS to the same INPUT, except with some sort of SWITCH. If you do that, then the "weaker" output will lose, and you will FRY something.

The simplest way would be to get one of those auxiliary boxes that allow multiple tape decks on one set of connectors, and wire it basically in reverse. You would have to re-lable the swiches, or it could get really confusing.

For the use you mentioned, you would only need to "Y" the single output of the CD deck to two INPUTS of two recievers. This would only take a couple more RCA cables and a couple of "Y" adapters, and should work fine. Just don't try that with any two OUTPUTS tied together... Steve

Very succint, Bear - no wonder you beat me... :=)
