Here is the beginnings of my studio. 1st picture is the control room. 2nd and 3rd are the live room. I have another room that i might end up using sometimes for live recording... but right now its my laundry room. Still working on the live room. Currently I don't have any acoustic treatment done at all... to either room. Any suggestions i would gladly accept.

You're right...that's a great start! You're sitting too close to your speakers though. You need to be positioned so that your head is at the apex of an equilateral triangle with your speakers at the other corners. You should also move the mix position so that your head is 38% of the way into the room measured from the front wall. You'll get much better frequency response if you can make those moves.

are those fairy lights at the top left?

sorry....where is my politically correctness!!!??

are those poof lanterns at the top left?

+1 to Frank's comments above (Weasel9992)

Nice potential. You must treat this space for mixing... Trap as many corners as possible - You've got 12 of them in a rectangular room. See the Acoustics articles on the GIK site, Realtraps site, and my pubs.

Live room - your choice, but I would recommend at least minimal trapping and flutter echo treatment.

Good luck!
Cheers,
John
