Blistering guitar work. Intriguing poetic lyrics. Five star homerecording. Looks like Sluice is at it again. 
I'm not sure if the reason I like this so much is because I've heard lots of your other stuff, but I think not - I think it's because it's a great song and I love the muscle and sound of it. The way it sways between the muscle and that staccato arpeggio bit is magic. You're getting better and better at this. If it weren't for the lyrics in this one, the way it moves could almost be described as swagger. That's the magic - it's ironic. The music is so confident and muscular, but the words are gut-wrenchingly bitter. When you get around to doing the video, here's an image: you with a pile of cleanly-washed towels, folding them neatly and stacking them up for your mom.
And you talk about *Sami* raising the bar. Damn. I don't care - I'm gonna post a song here this weekend anyway.
